The SARIOGLU GROUP was founded in 1978 by Mr. Ismet SARIOGLU when he opened a timber factory in Istanbul – TURKEY manufacturing materials for distribution throughout Turkey supplying the construction industry.

In 1990 The Group expanded into the automotive sector when they set up dealerships for Mercedes Benz, BMW and General Motors.

Further expansionand diversion followed in 1988 when the group extended the maritime sector. First by building a 18 metres traditional wooden sailing yacht for the tourist industry and then by purchasing a 25.000 DWT Bulk Carrier which carried cargo worldwide.

In the year 2003 the activities of The Group in construction accelarated when they began to develop, design and build high specification properties in Bodrum – Turkey and Kyrenia – Northern Cyprus.
